Iran expresses sorrow on Grenfell blaze

TEHRAN, Jun. 15 (MNA) – Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Ghasemi expressed deep sorrow on blaze in London’s Grenfell high-rise on Wednesday.

He also sympathized with families of the victims who lost their lives during the incident.

The fire broke out in the 24-storey Grenfell Tower in Kensington, West London, which was a residential highrise built in 1974 with 120 homes.

So far there have been twelve confirmed deaths, but the Fire Service have suggested that number is likely to rise further, and it is unlikely any more survivors will be recovered from the building.

68 patients have been taken to six hospitals across London, with 18 people in critical care, telegraph reported.
